Ashcroft Furniture has been an established brand for over 25 years in the US furniture industry. Their headquarters are based in Sugar Land, Texas, which is located right on the outskirts of Huston. They have a 100,000 sq ft automated warehouse which appears to be based in the same location. It helps them provide fast shipping and local pickup options.

Their website has a great design, is very easy to navigate, and is updated with current stock information.

Ashcroft Furniture also goes under the name Ashcroft Imports, which appears to be an older name for the same company. I couldn’t find any information about their founder/s, but they have an experienced team leading the company on Linkedin.

Over the years, Ashcroft Furniture has built a track record of excellence. Hence, this dropshipping supplier has a 98% customer satisfaction rate which they promote on their website. I did look into reviews online and wasn’t able to find a single review below 5 stars. To say the least, this was impressive and rare, but this does prove their claim. Another thing they claim and is supported by the reviews is their excellent customer service. And in terms of their product and partners, Ashcroft’s products are available in MidinMod furniture stores in Houston.

MidinMod also has exceptional reviews – another green sign for Ashcroft Furniture as a supplier. Also, on their website, they claim to have full support from major retailers like Home Depot, Wayfair, Overstock, Amazon, and Houzz.

Overall, I’m impressed by the track record of Ashcroft Furniture. Right off the bat, they appear to be a reputable supplier you can trust.

Ashcroft Furniture is a top-quality furniture supplier that offers affordable prices. This is supported by some of the reviews I read and the high-quality materials used in their furniture.

The company was founded with a mission to provide modern and contemporary designs that are both stylish and functional. The furniture they offer looks to be exceptionally well-designed in current and trending styles, so they do fulfill this promise.

I also see they feature high-quality materials like walnut wood and genuine leather on some of their products. They currently have over 300 products on their website.

I also find impressive the styles they offer with options following the latest furniture trends. Within those, they have a wide selection of Modern and Mid-Century to more unique styles. For example, they have several versions of Japandi sofas, which have been growing in popularity recently.

They also have high-quality product photos and renders which is a key feature for dropshippers, as well as product descriptions, details about the materials, etc.

It appears they really have everything covered when it comes to product quality, style, and media materials as well, which is really important from the perspective of a dropshipper selling high-ticket items in this industry.

I couldn’t find a lot of information about the terms of these programs. However, considering the product type, it should be easy to set up on their end.

They are pros and cons to private labeling in general, but in the case of furniture, it’s a great strategy.

Speaking of prices, Ashcroft Furniture does what they advertise.

On their website, they claim you can earn high profits with up to a 50% profit margin. This is a significant advantage compared to the median profit margin of just over 31% in the furniture industry.

In order to see the prices on their platform, you need to create an account on their website as a partner. They don’t charge a fee to signup to access the platform, but you do need to enter a lot of information about your business to be allowed in.

Once you enter, you can see the supplier’s prices for the furniture they offer, and it’s generally in the range of 300-1500 USD. Considering the quality of materials and the premium design of some of their pieces, that does prove their claim that you could aim for higher margins and still make successful sales.

With higher profit margins, it’s easier for dropshippers to convert sales successfully with fewer transactions. Because you’d be selling high-ticket items, you are going to look for ways to make more per item sold compared to pushing volume.

This means it’s a big benefit if you can make 50% (not accounting for marketing and operations costs). Still, if you take 20%-25% out of this margin for marketing and operations, you’re still left with a great chunk of profits.

Ashcroft Furniture also has no minimum order requirements, which is a given in the dropshipping industry but also good if you are looking for a different type of partnership.

With just 1-3 days in processing time for the items in stock, you can definitely rely on speedy delivery for your orders which is a great perk, especially in the furniture industry where items usually take months to ship and arrive.

Their website has an updated product inventory, with quick-ship options and a big in-stock selection ready for delivery. I only saw a few items which were only available for preorder, which is also a good sign because it means they invest in new styles and update their selection.

➡ Shipping methods

In terms of shipping methods, they use UPS and LTL freight. Their Shipping Policy page says that: [they] would drop ship orders without an additional fee to the dealer unless the dealer requests palletized shipping. In this case, Ashcroft Furniture Co charges a reasonable $50 fee per pallet to offset the cost of the shipping materials and extra labor. All applicable shipping fees and costs are non-refundable. All fees will be itemized on the invoice sent with the shipment.

➡ Tracking & Delivery

Customers receive regular updates and tracking information from the company to ensure that they are aware of the status of their orders. An important note here is that delivery charges are not refundable, even if the customer simply cancels the order, delivery will not be refunded ( see more on their Warranty and Return policy page) 

On the B2B side, Ashcroft Furniture offers 2 options for shipping: to ship on the Buyer’s account, or on the account of Ashcroft Furniture Co (see more details about the differences and terms on their Shipping Policy page). 

They also offer worldwide container programs, however, I couldn’t find more information on the cost estimated for international shipping.

Ashcroft Furniture Co warrants that its products will be free of defects and materials in workmanship for a period of one (1) year on all products. AshcroftFurniture Co says it will replace any product which does not meet this express warranty. Products are not warranted against regular wear and tear, nor are said to be of fitness for a particular use.

Ashcroft Furniture’s return policy appears to be along the lines of most businesses in this lane. The Warranty and Returns policy claims that a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued before accepting a return or replacement.

Once the returned item is counted and inspected at their warehouse, credit or refund will be issued by Ashcroft Furniture Co. Also, returned items have a time limitation of 30 days from the original purchase, and return shipping must be pre-paid by the customer if the item was not factory defective.

Plus, if the item is in under 7 days and returned in like-new condition, we will issue a 75% refund to the original payment method on file (this is because of their 25% restocking fee). Another important note here is that the delivery charges are not refundable. If you cancel your order, they won’t return the delivery.
