So, their website has an easy sign-up page where you can join using your email, Facebook, or Google account. Thus, I will simply use my Google account this time. 

So, once you sign up, you can access their dashboard.

Once signed up and your email is verified, you can start standard jobs immediately, with up to 15-20 standard jobs. These include testing games, surveys, and product reviews.

Upon completing five premium offers, you become a premium tester, granting you access to more, better-paying, and exclusive offers.  However, it’s essential to note that many premium tasks require an upfront cost. Keep this in mind before taking on any premium offers.

Testing Offers – Are They Really “Testing?”

When you test websites, you can easily do it on your laptop or desktop. Thus, each offer upfront tells you the amount you’ll earn for completing the test.

This payment is somewhat unusual because it might seem unrealistic. For instance, in the image provided, you could potentially earn $169 for testing a mobile game like Raid Shadow. 

Many users question whether these “tests” are really testing.

Good news: You get upfront payment details before starting.
Bad news: The best-paying tasks require in-app purchases or long gaming hours.

Example from 2025:

• But the reality? You earn $1 for reaching Level 10, then must spend $9.99 to earn more.

While this is achievable, what they don’t mention right away is that these tests often require spending money. And, that is the first thing that raises the question of whether it is Testerup Legit. So, let’s check on this game.

So, as I can see, you earn $1 for reaching level 10. Then, you have to buy some game gems for $9.99 to earn $10. What’s the point? Next, by the level of 50, you will earn $21, etc. 

Plus, I would like to mention that, I don’t quite agree with their “ testing” term here since you don’t test anything. Thus, you are just paid to play the game in a specific time frame. 

In fact, no one asks you for feedback or opinion about the game, nor gives you feedback for your testing. So, that is not testing, right?

Furthermore, most of these mobile games involve in-app purchases. So, what I’ve noticed is that the simpler tasks pay a small amount (around $0.10 to $0.50), while the more lucrative tasks demand a significant amount of time or money.

So, while it’s true you can earn a substantial amount through these tests, it comes at the cost of investing a considerable amount of time and money, which, in my view, raises concerns.

 However, the positive aspect is that you can stop testing at any time, and you’ll still receive earnings as long as you’ve completed some checklist tasks.

More concerning: Reddit users say that game offers sometimes don’t track correctly, leading to lost progress and no payment.

Another way to earn with Testerup is through its referral program. Thus, with their referral programs, you have to promote the platform and earn.

To participate, you simply need to invite people to join Testerup by sharing your invite link on various platforms. So, when someone clicks your link and becomes a Testerup member, they become your referral. 

As a reward, every time your referral is earned by completing tests, you receive a 10% commission. Hence, this is a passive income, but it’s crucial to invite people genuinely interested in earning from the platform.

Good: It’s passive income if your referrals actively complete tests.
Bad: Many Reddit users report that their referrals struggle to cash out—so your commission is only useful if they stick with it long enough.

Well, the answer is Yes and No, Testrup is a legit platform when it comes to payment. Hence, you will get paid for your earnings, but you must reach the $70 threshold first. 

Also, keep in mind that this is not a get-rich scheme at all. And, it requires time to earn the $70 threshold, maybe weeks or even months. Plus, some games have a period time limitations. So, believe me, it is incredibly hard to earn $70 and get cash out.

Like for example, in Coin Master, I only have 40 days to complete the game and earn the money.

And, more on the “No” side for Is Testerup legit is about their promises. As mentioned on their site, you can make $120 per test, and when you sign up as a new user, you’re offered more than 50 tests, adding up to over $800. 

However, the catch is that you have to invest your own money to potentially earn money. So, cashing out is tough because you need to accumulate at least $70. And, it’s not 50 tests for beginners. For instance, I got 20, and I read that some users even got less than 20.

Comparatively, other app testing opportunities like Usertesting typically pay much less, ranging from $5 to $10 per test. Moreover, even gaming reward apps such as Mistplay have relatively low hourly earning rates.

Is Testerup Legit – To Sum It Up

So, is Testerup a scam?

Yes, it’s legit in terms of payments.
But it’s not as easy as they claim.

The Good:

• You can earn money – Many users confirm successful PayPal withdrawals.
• Lots of task variety – You’re not limited to just playing games.
• Tasks are clear about how much you’ll earn.

The Bad:

• Payout threshold is too high – $70 is a grind.
• In-app purchases required for some tasks – You might spend money to earn money.
• Many tracking glitches – Some users never get paid for completed tasks.

How much you can earn with Testerup depends on the available offers and the time you invest in the platform. In addition, some offer to pay a little, while others pay more, but these often take longer or may require you to spend money.

As mentioned earlier, each test comes with tasks to complete. So, the ones that don’t take much time or involve spending money usually only earn you around $0.10 to $1 at most. So, if you focus on these parts of the tests, it’ll take several months before you reach the payout threshold.

There’s also the option to become a premium tester, which gives you access to higher-paying offers beyond what standard Testerup members see. 

However, overall, I’d say the earning potential of Testerup is quite limited. Thus, it takes several months of testing apps and sites to reach the payout threshold.

So, in my opinion, the main concern with Testerup is the high withdrawal minimum of $70, making it one of the highest in the field. And, achieving this threshold demands a considerable amount of time and effort, posing a substantial risk for users. 

Also, keep in mind that some offers may require personal purchases, introducing the risk of losing your own money if they don’t track or if you fail to meet the minimum payment threshold.

Also, the only countries that can actually use their services are the US, the UK, and Canada.

When it comes to customer testimonials about is Testerup Legit, there are dozens of them over the internet.

However, I don’t trust all of them since I am pretty sure they are paid to convince people to sign up. 

Also, when I checked on Trustpilot results I was pretty surprised. The app has 4.1 out of 5 stars, and most of the customer reviews are positive, talking about that it is a user-friendly app, its easy-to-find games, easy way to earn money, etc.

However, as I was sure that this all sounded too good to be true, I checked on the negative reviews, and I found lots of negative reviews about slow customer support, having their accounts suspended, etc. 

Moreover, on Reddit, I also found a bunch of comments that concerned me about whether is Testerup legit.

So, many Reddit users call it a “scammy grind.” Also, most common complaint for users is that you invest weeks of effort but struggle to cash out.
