Next, I pick the rectangle tool, click on the screen, and adjust the settings to match the dimensions of my object. 

This helps create a base shape for the design. I position the shape using the move tool, then double-click it to change the color.

Step 3: Scale the Shape and Keep the Proportions 

To get the perfect size, I press Control + T and scale the shape. Holding Shift keeps everything proportional so the shape doesn’t get distorted.

Step 4: Convert to Smart Object for Easy Edits 

I right-click and select Convert to Smart Object, which allows me to go back and make changes anytime. 

Then, I use the warp tool to bend and shape the design so it hugs the object closely.

Step 5: Adjust the Fill and Create Precise Selection 

Once the shape is aligned with my design vision, I set the fill back to 100%. Using the pen tool, I create a precise selection around the object or load one that I’ve saved earlier.

Step 6: Group Layers and Add a Mask

 In the layers panel, I create a new group and add a layer mask. Then, I drag the design layer into this group, keeping everything organized and ready for tweaks.

Step 7: Apply Your Design to the Mockup 

I double-click the smart object layer, drag my design into Photoshop, and save it. After closing the tab, my design magically appears on the mockup. 

To give it more depth, I changed the blending mode to Linear Burn, which adds realistic shadows.

Step 8: Customize the Background 

For the background, I usually use a Solid Color adjustment layer. I select the right color for my sci-fi theme, then invert the mask with Control + I.

Step 9: Final Adjustments with the Camera Raw Filter 

To finish off, I use the Camera Raw Filter to tweak the exposure and enhance the shine, giving my sci-fi design that extra polish and realism.
